Community Outreavh

Gurdwara Nishkam Seva has been actively involved in interfaith, charitable and awareness in the wider community through its outreach programs:

• Representation Sikh Community on many interfaith bodies (e.g. Interfaith Council of Thanksgiving Square Foundation), Faith Forward Dallas, local government and advisory boards (e.g. Dallas Independent School District, Dallas Police, Irving Police).
• Organizing visits of students of religious studies (of various local institutions) to the Gurdwara
• The Sangat has taken part in a number of charitable activities including donations to the Irving area food banks during Christmas season and having blood drives (for Carter Blood Center) at the Gurdwara.
• The Gurdwara members have visited places of worship of other faiths as well as invited leaders from other faiths to visit the Gurdwara.
